In Loving Memory of My Cat "Magina"
          April 8, 1991-January 11, 2010

I raised Magina from a itty bitty 3 week old kitten.  I bottled fed her with a doll baby bottle with her fitting in my hand! I carried her around in the pouch of my sweat shirt stimulating her mother's warmth.  She curled around my neck and slept feeling the pulse of my heart beat, keeping my neck warm and healed from an injury.  That was in April of 1991, almost 19 years ago.  She also had a another mother in my late black lab Tse Tsan who she cuddled with when I was working.
She laid on Tse Tsan's stomach trying to nurse.Tse Tsan would also retreive Gina like a toy dropping her at my feet.  Tse Tsan was a bit rough with her at times, a bit jealous of the new kitty baby in the house but she knew she had to protect her too.
Gina became a very strong willed defiant teenager soon and she wouldn't think twice of challenging my authority by biting and scratching me with the dominance of a wild cat.  Though small in size, she was a avid hunter and quite a street fighter. She had nics on her ears from her scrapes with big Tom cats and lost a front fang in the mix!
She was street smart, knew about fast cars, always avoiding them.  She never used a litter box and came when I whistled for her. I treated her like a dog and she even came on walks with Sorena and me many times.  My neighbors would smile at her as she walked quickly behind us, holding her place in our family.
Magina was the most adaptable nomadic cat I ever meant.  She took each move of ours in stride, never freaking out just claiming her new turf in her new digs.
She was a alpha cat with a capital "A", an Aries all the way!  Although we often struggled for power, I had to admire that strong and brave streak she had in her.  I was proud of her and glad that she served as my power animal  companion for almost two decades!  She now joins her sister dogs Sorena and Tse Tsan is animal paradise.

RIP MY GINA!  Love your Mommy, Fran
