          During the past three decades, Francesca has  participated in several community art projects in Oakland and Berkeley, CA .
          Her work includes portrait photography of Afro-American children, resulting with an exhibit at the Temescal Branch Library in Oakland and at Mocha's Children Museum.  She has taught photography and  arts and crafts during her  "artist in residence" position at the Oakland Library and as a  PASS site coordinator.
          Ms. Roccaforte also has worked extensively with the disabled commuity.  During her gallery management class with Anna Vaughn at Laney College, she curated an art exhibit of NIAD (National Institute Adult Disabilities)  artists  at the June Steinhart Gallery with other students.
          She also produced exhibits of art work by seniors with disabilites at the West Berkeley Senior Center through her work at
          B.O.R.P. (Bay Area Recreation Program) as an activities coordinator.
          Francesca  co-produced with April & Heather Watkins at the  Art of Living Center,Berkeley, a exhibition "Peace Imaginings". 
          This was a  collection of digital art from the students from Mathew Silverberg's Portfolio class at Berkeley City College.
