FRANCESCA'S STATEMENT ABOUT HER PORTRAIT WORK

"I 've had the privilege to photograph the many "faces" of  performers, dancers, musicians, authors, spiritual leaders, educators, politicians, animals, doctors, public speakers in  hospitals and at universities. I have shot special ceremonies,weddings, LGBT pride celebrations,ethnic parades,SF Carnival, and so much more.
 I  relish in the moment when I am able to capture an expression, a ray of that person's
life and personality.  It is important to my subjects as it is to me to remain as unobtrusive as possible in that moment and encourage them to relax and express themselves."  My background as a documentary photographer /photojournalist and film maker has given me the experience to shoot quickly, quietly, and develop a natural rapport with others.
My work has been published in newspapers and magazines as well as on book jackets, posters,postcards and even etched in 3D glass!  (Rev. Dr. Elouise Oliver, EBCRS)
